We are actively seeking a skilled IT Infrastructure Engineer to oversee and manage the Storage and Backup systems at our clients dynamic Technology Campus. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, testing, project delivery, maintenance, and support of critical infrastructure systems that ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead projects from concept through to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.
  • Implement changes to infrastructure systems in line with established business processes and best practices.
  • Provide regular updates on project status to key stakeholders, ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with solution design architects, business stakeholders, project engineers, third-party vendors, and end users to achieve project objectives.
  • Continuously evolve monitoring tools and practices to optimize the performance, availability, and reliability of storage and backup systems.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, specifically focusing on storage and backup solutions.
  • Proven expertise in managing complex projects and delivering results on time and within budget.
  • Extensive knowledge of storage platforms such as NetApp, HPE Primera, HPE Nimble, and Pure (File, Block, and Object storage).
  • Strong understanding of Fibre Channel and iSCSI technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with data backup and recovery software, particularly IBM Spectrum Protect.
  • Familiarity with change management processes and methodologies.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI).
  • Proficiency in Windows and Linux Server Operating Systems.
  • Familiarity with the Varonis Data Security Platform.
  • Knowledge of antivirus storage scanning techniques.
