About the RoleWe are looking for a proactive IT Security Specialist to support the development of a robust security program, enhance application security, and establish monitoring processes that protect our organisation's assets and applications. You'll contribute to security maturity, protect our platforms from emerging threats, and foster security awareness across the company.
Responsibilities
Security Program Development
- Support the advancement of the organisation's security program to strengthen visibility and automate cyber risk reporting.
- Collaborate on evaluating and creating security policies and procedures to align with industry best practices.
- Contribute to the development of customised, role-based security training.
Security Capabilities
- Drive secure application practices across teams to protect internally-developed systems and applications from threats, including account compromise and potential breaches.
- Conduct security architecture reviews to maintain secure design and implementation standards.
- Provide mentorship and constructive feedback on security deliverables, fostering continuous improvement.
Security Monitoring & Reporting
- Establish a comprehensive Vulnerability Management Process, integrating necessary security tools.
- Automate vulnerability tracking and reporting for consistent oversight.
- Track, evaluate, and report on security-related KPIs.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in Penetration Testing, Vulnerability Management, Security Operations, and Security Metrics.
- Hands-on experience addressing application and infrastructure vulnerabilities, including testing, auditing, and remediation.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Relevant security certifications such as CISM, CISSP are preferred.
