We are looking for a Creative Designer to work with the Head of Brand to curate concepts and artwork for all relevant Rohan content for use across all channels.

Who are we looking for?

This role is responsible for delivering creative concepts, assets and artwork for print and digital that work across multiple channels creating a consistent look and feel of the Rohan brand, aligning to the business strategy and showcasing best practice branding. The ideal candidate needs to be able to drive and challenge the creative direction of campaigns and BAU concepts, working within the boundaries of the Rohan branding.

Knowledge & Experience

  • At least 2 years’ experience working for a consumer brand.
  • Proficient in Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop.
  • Experience in art working and creation of collateral within a multi-channel retailer.
  • Experience of working on digital based assets.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Work independently (within the boundaries of the brand guidelines).
  • Experience working with printers and print formats.
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and/or requirements.
  • Passion for the outdoors
  • Able to produce visual content for all sizes of print and e-commerce.
  • Confidence to work independently and within a small team.
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills with an excellent ability to collaborate.
  • Ability to work at pace and own decisions and consequences of those decisions.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills to work to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to build and maintain exceptional relationships cross functionally

Main duties

  • Ensuring all assets are formatted correctly, accurate, and print ready
  • Work with the wider team to ensure all photography is accurately saved 
  • Support with the license process linked with all imagery
  • Manage POS requirements, store allocations and deliveries.
  • Work with the printers to deliver cost effective solutions.
  • Work alongside agencies, building effective relationships
  • Manage the artwork and store swing tickets and adverts
  • Work with Design and Marketing on retail product packaging, artworks, and specifics
  • Manage and maintain the asset database
  • Collaborate with the in-house Photographer to drive direction of creative photoshoots, aligning to multi-channel and campaign requirements.

 General requirements

  • Manage and produce creative concepts over a variety of platforms, platforms and projects
  • Interpret briefs to create solutions, meeting deadlines, budgets, and sales goals
  • Re-touch, re-size, and re-colour photographic imagery
  • Positively represent visual marketing
  • Be a good critic of concept and execution, providing realistic and actionable feedback
  • Seek out new technical and creative strategies
  • Support e-commerce with creation of web and social assets when required
  • Work with Head of Brand to ensure that the Rohan brand is correctly represented
  • Create digital assets for paid social media and affiliate e-commerce channels
  • Budget tracking.
