We are seeking a dedicated Design & Technology Technician to join our dynamic team at a thriving school in Milton Keynes. This role is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for the subject, offering support to both students and teaching staff in the delivery of high-quality lessons.



About the Role

  • Provide essential technical support for Design & Technology lessons, including setting up equipment and maintaining the workshop environment.
  • Assist students during practical lessons, ensuring safety guidelines are followed and providing help with equipment and materials.
  • Liaise with teachers to ensure the availability of materials and resources for lessons.
  • Help maintain and organise tools and equipment, ensuring they are safe, in good working order, and accessible for teaching.
  • Assist in managing stock, ordering materials, and supporting classroom activities as required.


About You

  • Experience in a similar technical support role, ideally within Design & Technology.
  • Strong practical skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage resources effectively.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
