Location: Milton Keynes

Hours: Monday to Friday - 9:00am to 5:30pm

Salary: £27,000

Due to an internal promotion our client is seeking a highly organised and detail oriented Despatch Administrator to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the dispatch of goods, ensuring that all shipments are processed efficiently and accurately. The role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work under pressure, and strong problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage the dispatch of goods to customers and clients.
  • Ensure all orders are processed accurately and on time.
  • Maintain accurate records of all dispatch activities.
  • Communicate with warehouse staff, drivers, and customers to ensure smooth operations.
  • Monitor stock levels and liaise with inventory management to prevent shortages.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to dispatch.
  • Prepare and generate reports on dispatch activities for management.
  • Comply with company policies and safety regulations.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a dispatch or logistics role.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • SAP experience preferred
  • Knowledge of dispatch software and inventory management systems.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
