We're seeking a seasoned professional to take on a senior role within a collaborative, cross-functional team. This full-time, permanent position offers the opportunity to lead projects, mentor team members, and develop cutting-edge data science solutions, all while working in a flexible hybrid environment.

Key Skills and Experience:
  • Strong expertise in Python, SQL, and Excel.
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools like PowerBI or Tableau.
  • Deep knowledge of NLP techniques, Transformers, Huggingface, and handling large text datasets.
  • Experience with containerization tools such as Docker and Docker-Compose.
  • Comprehensive understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Capability to gain UK Security Clearance (SC).
Desirable:
  • SC or DV Cleared.
  • Experience in large-scale data mapping, migration, and profiling.
  • Proficiency with Linux command line tools.
  • Degree in a numerate discipline with a strong statistical focus.
Duties:
  • Lead and design data-driven solutions to support public sector digital transformation.
  • Apply advanced data analytics and machine learning to deliver impactful client solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, customers, and external organizations to drive innovation.
  • Mentor junior data scientists, fostering skill development and team growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, gathering requirements and providing strategic advice on business processes.
