Assistant Town Planner - Milton Keynes - Negotiable

We're seeking a dynamic Assistant Town Planner to be a part of our innovative client's team and contribute to the development and enhancement of our towns and cities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior planners on various projects related to land use, zoning, and development proposals.
  • Conduct research and analysis to support planning initiatives.
  • Assist in preparing reports, proposals, and presentations for stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
  • Engage with the community to gather input and address concerns regarding planning projects.
  • Stay updated on current planning regulations, trends, and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Urban Planning or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in GIS, CAD, or other relevant planning software is a plus.
  • Previous experience or internships in urban planning or a related field is desirable.
