Role OverviewAs the Service Assurance Lead, you will play a critical role in establishing and leading the Service Management Assurance team within the organisation. This position has become available due to a team member being reassigned to support commercial activities. You will be responsible for creating and implementing policies, processes, and procedures to ensure the highest quality levels across all ITSM practices. Your role will involve building strong connections with all teams to support and guide them in delivering quality services. Additionally, you will work closely with the new Head of Service Assurance once appointed and address any operational issues within ITSM.Your new role

  • Provide lead design resources to establish a Service Management Assurance team within the ITSM organisation.
  • Create and implement all policies, processes, and procedures required by the Service Assurance team.
  • Establish and maintain quality levels across all ITSM practices.
  • Build and maintain strong connections with all D&T teams to assure, support, and guide them in delivering quality services.
  • Collaborate closely with the new Head of Service Assurance.
  • Address and resolve any issues teams encounter with ITSM operations, finding solutions that work for all parties.
  • Onboard and transition the new Assurance capability into live service.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience in IT service management or a similar role.
  • ITIL Certification - v3 minimum but ideally v3 expert or v4
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement

What you'll get in return

  • 3-6 Month Contract
  • £550 - 600 per day rate Outside IR£5 (via Ltd Company)
