What You'll Be Doing

In this role, you'll provide essential support to our Legal Team, helping them to prepare cases for hearings and advise the Investigation and Regulatory Practice Teams on conduct and regulatory matters. You'll also assist in the important work of maintaining the high standards and integrity of our profession.

Key tasks include:

  • Drafting submissions, applications, and other legal documents for our Professional Standards Department committees and tribunals.
  • Helping prepare witness statements and conducting legal research to support investigations.
  • Organising case bundles and preparing cost schedules, ensuring everything is accurate and on time.
  • Handling general administrative duties such as correspondence, filing, and processing purchase orders.
  • Taking responsibility for the progress of cases at various stages, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking someone eager to learn and grow, with:

  • A foundation in law, whether through education, paralegal training, or equivalent experience (experience in a contentious area would be advantageous.)
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills to manage a busy and varied workload.
