Our client has a vacancy for a Corporate and Banking Paralegal working full-time, Monday to Friday, 9.00 am to 5.30 pm (37.5 hours per week).

GOOD KNOWLEDGE OF:

  • Ancillary documents on private company corporate transactions (including, but not limited to documents lists, board minutes, due diligence reports, disclosure letters, stock transfer forms and completion bibles) and acquisition documents (e.g. share purchase and asset purchase agreements).
  • Ancillary documents on banking transactions desirable (including, but not limited to, CP lists, board minutes, shareholder resolutions, director’s certificate) and finance documents (e.g. loan agreements, security documents and intercreditor arrangements).

DESIRABLE:

  • Some company secretarial experience.
  • A flexibility to work across both Corporate and Banking disciplines and to gain experience of both.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Professional Legal Qualification or working towards (CILEX/Law Degree/Paralegal).
  • The flexibility to work outside usual business hours where required.
  • Sound legal knowledge, drafting skills and experience appropriate to the level of experience.
  • Confidence and ability to communicate at senior levels.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop contacts for the team and the firm.
  • Team player able to fit into a friendly, busy team.
  • Organisational ability.
