Our client is seeking a mail sorter to join their team during the festive season, a critical time for ensuring timely delivery of Christmas cards and presents.
The role involves moving mail and packages through centers, unloading from vans, and assisting with sorting tasks.
Shifts are flexible, with options including Earlies at £12.54 per hour, Lates at £13.90 per hour, and Nights at £15.11 per hour.
No previous experience is required, although prior work in a warehouse, sorting, or distribution center is preferred.
Candidates should be efficient, organized, adaptable, and capable of handling physically demanding tasks, such as lifting and moving heavy mail bags.

Our client is looking for somone to join their team over the festive season and busiest time of the season, as a mail sorter you will play a crutial role insuring every christmas card and present reaches it's destination safely.

As a mail sorter your duties would be as such:

Moving mail and packages through our centres
Unloading mail and packages from our vans
Help sort mail and packages

This client is flexible with offering a range of shift, therefore it is made simple to fin one that suits you. The typical shift patterns are:

Earlies 6:00 - 14:00 (from 12.54 p/h)
Lates: 14:00 - 22:00 (from 13.90 p/h)
Twilight: 18:00 - 22:00 (from 15.11 p/h)
Nights : 22:00 - 6:00 (from 15.11 p/h)
Weekends: Various shifts available (as above p/h)

Efficient and orgaised - Enjoy working in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines.
Flexibility and adaptability: the ability to swich between tasks during a shift.
Strength and stamina: Able to push trolleys (up to 250kg) and lift/move mail bags (up to 11kg). Also comfortable with extended periods of walking and standing.

You do not require any past experience similar to this role tp apply, however it would be great if you were to have prior experience in a warehouse or sorting role, or worked in a distribution centre.
