Overview: We are looking to enhance the engineering function at our client's Milton Keynes plant with the addition of skilled Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineers. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking business where your expertise will be pivotal in minimising downtime and maximising efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure continuous production by maintaining the efficient operation of all equipment, machinery, and peripherals.
  • Perform repairs as part of both breakdown and preventative maintenance activities.
  • Accurately complete all relevant paperwork and maintenance logs according to company procedures.
  • Adhere to quality, hygiene, and food safety policies in all maintenance duties.
  • Execute any additional duties related to the job as required, in line with the mission of maintaining high performance and safety standards.


Skills & Experience:

  • Time-served apprenticeship in an electrical-biased environment is highly advantageous.
  • Proficient in reading and understanding hydraulic and pneumatic schematics, with a strong knowledge of safe working practices in these areas.
  • Holding 17th or 18th edition electrical regulations with a comprehensive understanding of energy isolation, safe working practices, and L.O.T.O.
  • Demonstrable electrical fault-finding skills and a solid understanding of control systems.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment, with cross-functional mechanical and electrical skills.
  • Strong work ethic with a 'clean as you go' mentality and a good grasp of 5S workplace organization principles.

  • Reliable, self-motivated, and resourceful with a proactive approach to work.
  • Proven experience in reactive and preventative maintenance techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
