As the Maintenance Engineer your key responsibilities will be to provide Electrical and Mechanical support to ensure performance of all production machinery and electrical systems.
Prompt attendance to automated machinery failures, and improvement / upgrade work.
General Continuous Improvement activities
Minimise machine downtime
Prevent manufacturing lost time
Planned maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.    Â
The Maintenance Engineer will have experience of working within a manufacturing environment. You will be able to demonstrate an understanding of manufacturing processes and have experience of working with manufacturing systems; related controls and instrumentation systems.

The ideal Maintenance Engineer will have some the following qualifications:
BTECH/ONC qualification as a minimum in an Electrical discipline or Multi skilled Engineering qualification, C&G 2330 Level 3 Electro - technical certificate combined with NVQ 3 Electrical Maintenance, Time served apprentice, HNC level in electrical, mechanical or production maintenance engineering
