We’re partnering with a leading manufacturing organisation in Milton Keynes that’s on the lookout for a talented and proactive Maintenance Engineer to join their dynamic team. The Role

As a Maintenance Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of the production process, ensuring the seamless operation of advanced machinery and systems. Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering both electrical and mechanical support across production lines.
  • Responding swiftly to automated machinery breakdowns, minimising downtime.
  • Performing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and addressing reactive maintenance needs.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives to boost equipment performance and productivity.
  • Supporting machinery upgrades and process optimisation projects.
About You

We’re looking for hands-on engineers with experience in a manufacturing setting. Whether your expertise lies in electrical or mechanical systems, you’ll need a solid understanding of production systems, controls, and instrumentation, coupled with a proactive mindset and the ability to solve problems under pressure.

Key Qualifications & Skills:

  • Electrical or Multi-Skilled Engineering qualifications (e.g., BTEC/ONC, City & Guilds 2330, or NVQ Level 3).
  • A time-served apprenticeship in Engineering.
  • HNC in Electrical, Mechanical, or Production Maintenance Engineering (preferred).
  • Strong analytical and fault-finding skills, with a commitment to high standards of work.
