Maintenance Engineer - Electrical Bias

Location: Milton KeynesSalary: £45,000 per annum + Fantastic Benefits PackageShift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 2pm to 10pm plus occasional Sunday

About the Company

This is an opportunity to join a globally recognised brand that has a highly automated facility that specialises in producing essential food products for a nationwide supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, repair, and modify plant machinery to keep production running smoothly.
  • Take the lead in preventative maintenance tasks and ensure all safety standards are met.
  • Quickly diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical issues to minimise downtime.
  • Maintain a variety of equipment including conveyors, mixers, weighing and dispensing units, silos, and hoppers.
  • Manage spare parts, tools, and keep engineering records up to date.
  • Contribute to ongoing process improvements by applying Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Electrical bias with experience working in a food, FMCG, or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of conveyors, weighing and dispensing systems, and automated production lines.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast moving environment.
  • Familiarity with health & safety protocols and compliance regulations.
