About the Role

As a Maintenance Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and reliability of advanced production equipment. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing expert electrical and mechanical support to ensure smooth production processes.
  • Rapidly diagnosing and resolving issues with automated machinery to minimise downtime.
  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) alongside reactive maintenance tasks.
  • Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and implementing solutions to optimise equipment performance.
  • Assisting with machinery upgrades and process enhancement projects.

About You

We're looking for a hands-on professional with a strong background in a manufacturing or engineering environment. Whether your expertise lies in electrical or mechanical engineering, you'll thrive in this role if you have:

  • Relevant qualifications, such as a BTEC/ONC, City & Guilds 2330, or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical or Multi-Skilled Engineering.
  • A time-served engineering apprenticeship.
  • (Preferred) HNC in Electrical, Mechanical, or Production Maintenance Engineering.
  • Strong fault-finding and analytical skills, combined with a commitment to maintaining high standards of work.
  • The ability to work efficiently under pressure and a drive to continuously improve.
