Key responsibilities include:
- Providing expert electrical and mechanical support to maintain smooth production processes.
- Diagnosing and resolving issues with automated machinery swiftly, ensuring minimal production downtime.
- Performing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and addressing reactive maintenance tasks.
- Identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities to optimise equipment performance.
- Assisting with machinery upgrades and contributing to process enhancement projects.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Relevant qualifications such as BTEC/ONC, City & Guilds 2330, or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical or Multi-Skilled Engineering.
- A time-served engineering apprenticeship or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Strong fault-finding and analytical skills, with the ability to maintain high standards of work under pressure.
- A proactive approach to continuous improvement and process optimisation.
