Are you interested in organising and planning workload to improve processes and make a real difference? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment? We're looking for a Production Controller to join a precision engineering business to play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional results for customers.

About the Role:

In this key position, you'll manage and control customer orders across the entire manufacturing cycle, ensuring seamless coordination of internal and external processes. You'll work closely with department heads to maintain production schedules, update ERP systems, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.

How your day to day looks:

You will plan new customer orders using established templates to set achievable milestones. manage order routing for internal and external processes via ERP software and monitor production progress, adapting plans as needed to meet deadlines.
On from this, you will support the RFQ process by advising on capacity and delivery timelines, lead daily production meetings with department heads and provide updates on order status, capacity, and potential projects.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in production planning within a fast-paced precision manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with ERP manufacturing systems (Epicor preferred, but not essential).
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic about delivering high-quality results.
