Our client, a leading manufacturer and supplier in the fenestration industry, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join their team near Milton Keynes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the fenestration sector, with hands-on experience and knowledge of UPVC products.
This is a full-time, office-based role, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to a growing and dynamic company.
Operations Manager Job Overview- Collaborate with production teams, suppliers, and key stakeholders to optimize operations.
- Reporting back to directors
- Manage operational workflows, including scheduling, logistics, and resource distribution, to maintain seamless project execution.
- Hire, train, and mentor a skilled operations team, fostering a productive and high-performing workforce.
- Supervise and coordinate daily production processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Uphold compliance with industry regulations and enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment.
- Oversee inventory management and supplier partnerships to guarantee timely, cost-efficient procurement of materials.
- Evaluate operational data, generate reports, and identify opportunities for improvement to enhance decision-making.
- Proven experience as an Operations Manager in the window or home improvement industry.
- Strong leadership abilities, with a talent for inspiring and developing teams.
- Knowledge of LEAN manufacturing principles and their practical application.
- In-depth understanding of window product manufacturing processes.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Sharp problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in computer systems and software relevant to operations management.
- Salary: £40,000 - £50,000
