Our client is a growing manufacturing business specialising in woodworking/joinery production. They are looking to bring in a Production Manager in training, building upon CNC machining, programming and design experience to help with marketing, quoting, and taking the business to new heights.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Growing Marketing strategies to grow the business
- Creating quotes and turnign leads into new business
- Utilising customer drawings to create engineering drawings and CNC Programms for machining
- Ordering and maintaining stock
- Planning and scheduling for production
- Taking on HR, recruitment, Health & Safety and finance responsabilities
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Have experience in a cnc workshop environment
- Be able to operate and programme CNC machinery
- Have experience in 2D CAD design
- Have epxeirence in managing/leading a team
