Ecommerce Business Analyst - E-commerce

The role can be hybrid, with 1 or 2 days a week onsite

We're looking for a skilled Business Analyst with expertise in eCommerce and omni-channel retail to join our team. In this role, you'll partner with stakeholders across business and IT to define requirements, map processes, and ensure that all projects deliver high-quality, scalable solutions. This position is ideal for a BA with strong domain knowledge in eCommerce and omni-channel retail, as well as experience working with enterprise-level commerce cloud platforms.

For this role you will be;

  • Collaborate with the Product Owner and Subject Matter Experts to define clear, impactful requirements and user stories.
  • Work with Technical Analyst, Subject Matter Expert and the Delivery Team to validate acceptance criteria, adjust requirements as needed, and contribute to estimation and iteration planning sessions.
  • Analyse and document 'As Is' processes, establishing the optimal 'To Be' states to enhance business operations.
  • Define and manage end-to-end or integration requirements across multiple teams and systems to support seamless customer experiences.
  • Own requirements for team deliverables, present stories and customer journeys, and facilitate requirements workshops to ensure alignment.
  • Support business process changes stemming from customer journey updates, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure effective implementation.
  • Develop business cases to evaluate the value of new investments, with a focus on eCommerce and omni-channel retail initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2- 5 years' experience working as a business analyst within ecommerce.
  • Proven experience with eCommerce systems, trading activities, and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience in documenting As-Is and To-Be states, with a proficiency in process mapping and modelling.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
