We have a great opportunity to join a worldwide business as a Shift Engineer for a production facility based in Leighton Buzzard.

The Shift Engineer would be responsible for supporting the production team with a proactive service to enable production lines to run safely and efficiently, reduce downtime through Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and continuous improvements all while having a high regard for Health and Safety.

Key responsibilities for a Shift Engineer

Engineering maintenance and fault finding on industrial machinery

Onsite maintenance and engineerings support for site assets

Working on PPM schedules

Troubleshooting systems


Essential skills for a Shift Engineer

Rounded engineer with an electrical/mechanical bias

Experience of working in a manufacturing facility

Knowledge and experience of injection moulding industry

Computer literate

Compliant with Health and Safety requirements

Self-motivated and able to work independently on maintenance tasks
