The Role: R&D Test EngineerThe role will be extremely varied, with the opportunity to do some really interesting lab work and be involved in the R&D campaigns, as well as using your hands-on skills.

Here are some of the things you’d be doing:• Managing your time within the lab, ensuring all tests are carried out within a reasonable timescale. • Creating test rigs.• Running through the data, forming an analysis and creating reports to feedback to the team.• Building systems to use in R&D, by way of mechanical assembly and wiring.• Using your problem-solving ability to generate ideas for unusual test requirements.

The Candidate: R&D Test Engineer The successful candidate will be meticulous with excellent time management skills. We are also looking for: • A degree in physics or engineering (chemical engineering, robotics, electronics, or mechanical)• Previous experience of testing products.• A practical mind-set with great communication skills.• Ability to read and interpret data sets.
