A Mechanical Design Engineer with proven 3D CAD skills (SolidWorks) and an understanding of Electrical principles will join a global leader in automation and pneumatics technology.

Qualified to a minimum of HND or Degree level in Mechanical Engineering, applicants will ideally possess 1-3 years industrial experience or have undertaken an Internship or similar training position within an Engineering Company.

In this mechanical Design Engineer role you will contribute to special product design proposals for a range of actuators, ensuring conformance with International standards as well as working closely with manufacturing functions.

The Mechanical Design Engineer should bring:

  • A HND or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or similar discipline.
  • 3D modelling ideally using SolidWorks.
  • A basic understanding of Electrical Engineering.
  • Strong written and verbal English skills.
  • Knowledge of electro-pneumatic control including circuit diagrams.
  • Exposure to jigs, fixtures, tooling or special purpose machines highly beneficial.
  • Good problem solver and team player.
