Mechanical Design Engineering Manager

Working on the design of cutting-edge products, you will lead a team of talented engineers developing a complex product for mass manufacture. The company is at a pivotal stage, now starting to generate revenue with global customers who continue to be amazed by the innovation behind the technology.

Although this is a management role, you will still need to be heavily involved in the design process on a day-to-day basis. The product is complex, involving the design of enclosures that house electronics, software, and optics, so it is essential to have experience working with intricate precision products.

You will lead a team of five, working closely with the Director of Product Development and other cross-functional engineering teams. Additionally, you will collaborate with external manufacturing partners and senior-level customers.

The company offers an amazing working environment with bleeding-edge technology, without some of the red tape associated with larger regulated organizations. You will also gain access to incredibly lucrative share options and a range of other excellent benefits. The company operates a hybrid working model.

For this role, the ideal candidate will have:

A degree in Mechanical Engineering
