Panel Repair Technical Trainer

Salary: Up to 50,000.00 per year depending on experience + benefits

Job description

This is a full-time, on-site position for an Automotive Panel Repair & Welding Technical Trainer at our client in Milton Keynes.

The role will primarily be based at our brand-new training facility, with occasional off-site delivery to meet customer requirements. The ideal candidate will have a convenient distance commute to Milton Keynes.

As a Vehicle Panel Repair & Welding Technical Trainer, you will be responsible for preparing and delivering professional training and formal assessments, for both beginners and highly skilled technicians. You will deliver training programmes and courses related to vehicle body repair and welding. A key aspect of the role will be making sure the training and assessments meet industry and vehicle manufacturer standards.

This role is open to both experienced trainers in this field and seasonedworkshop-based Panel techs who are now looking to begin a career away from the tools and move into a training role.

Your day-to-day tasks will include conducting training sessions, developing training materials, assessing performance, and providing feedback and support to trainees. You will play a vital role in ensuring that individuals and businesses have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in their respective industries.

Duties

  • Deliver training to the highest professional standards in a clinical and safe environment
  • Analyse training needs and adapt content accordingly to meet the diverse requirements of learners.
  • Create instructional materials and resources that enhance the learning experience
  • Conduct assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of training programmes and make improvements as necessary.
  • Provide ongoing support to trainees, addressing any questions or concerns they may have post-training.

Qualifications

  • Welding and body repair techniques to a high level is required
  • Further experience and qualifications in training and assessing would be advantageous

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Relevant certifications or qualifications in technical training or related fields
