They’re looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join an expanding design team. You will need to be capable of delivering highly robust, innovative, competitive and thoroughly tested products as well as leading mechanical development on new projects.The Role:+ 3D CAD design + Design and develop new machinery + Build prototypes in the workshop + Design practical tests + Produce & maintain technical documentation + Team leadership Requirements: + Degree educated in relevant discipline + Strong 3D CAD skills + Produce manufacturing drawings + Experienced in designing special purpose machinery or equipment + Knowledge of fabrication, machining and assembly techniques+ Hands on and practical workshop skills
The salary will be between £45,000-£55,000 depending on experience. There is also a generous benefits package available.
