Our client is a leading provider of Clean Air services across the South East region and due to gaining new contracts, they are now seeking to take on a hardworking Validation Engineer. You will be working on Healthcare sites. Working in line with relevant Health and Safety / HTM 03-01 guidelines, you will be required to carry out testing on critical ventilation systems, testing DOP and HEPA filers and accurately re-balancing air flow. Due to the nature of the role, the successful candidate must be happy to travel in line with company and client needs.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: Bletchley, Brackley, Luton, Aylesbury, Hemel Hempstead, Stevenage, St Albans, Hertford, Bishops Stortford, Bedford, Cambridge, Huntingdon, Oxford, Bicester, Witney, High Wycombe, Reading.
Experience & Qualifications:
" Experience working for a reputable Clean Air company working hands on as a Validation Engineer is essential to the role.
" Holding up to date and relevant competent person / authorised person training is desirable.
" Holding the BOHS P601 would be beneficial to the role.
" Excellent IT skills, able to produce comprehensive reports.
" In-depth knowledge of relevant Health and Safety / HTM 03-01 guidelines.
The Role:
" Attending Healthcare sites to carry out testing on critical ventilation systems.
" Ensuring to correctly validate and verify systems in line with manufacturing and industry regulations.
" Auditing air handling units (AHUs).
" Testing of DOP and HEPA filters.
" Measuring air flow and pressure, ensuring to accurately re-balance air flow.
" Carrying out microbiological air sampling and environmental measuring.
" Maintaining equipment, arranging repairs, servicing, and calibrations.
" Providing clients with accurate technical reports, advice and support.
" Ensuring work is carried out in line with relevant Health and Safety guidelines.
