We are seeking a skilled and qualifiedAir Source Heat Pump (ASHP) Installerto join our growing team.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the installation and maintenance of air source heat pump systems. You will play a key role in the delivery of low-carbon heating solutions to both domestic and commercial clients, supporting the transition to sustainable energy sources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) systems in domestic and small commercial properties.
- Conduct site surveys, ensuring accurate assessments for ASHP installations.
- Design, plan, and lay out pipework and components for optimal system performance.
- Carry out maintenance, repairs, and servicing of ASHP systems.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant building and safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction during and after installations.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete installations efficiently and to a high standard.
- Keep up to date with industry developments, regulations, and renewable technologies.
Requirements:
- Experience:Minimum of 2 years' experience in the installation of air source heat pump systems or similar heating technologies.
- Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing and Heating (or equivalent).
- F-Gas qualification and/or Refrigeration handling certification (desirable).
- WRAS (Water Regulations Advisory Scheme) certification.
- Level 3 Award in the Installation and Maintenance of Air Source Heat Pump Systems
- Low Temperature Heating & Hot Water Design (desirable).
- Knowledge:Understanding of ASHP systems, heat loss calculations, and the principles of heat pumps.
- Full UK Driving License (essential).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work away from home when required
