A leading textile manufacturer based in Stroud, is recruiting and has an opportunity available to join their Maintenance and Facilities team on a permanent basis. This vacancy is full time on day shift only.
Job Duties- Maintenance Operative:
- Involved in various projects within a busy Engineering department
- Improve companies’ assets which include machinery, equipment, and buildings
- Respond to breakdowns, safety issues and any other situations requiring urgent action
Requirements- Maintenance Operative:
- Must have an aptitude in Plant Maintenance and General Engineering
- Mechanically minded with a good understanding of equipment and tools
- Good mechanical skills including welding, fabrication, hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, and drives
- Team player
- Reliable
- Good problem-solving skills
- Organisational skills with a sense of priority
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Forklift driving (not essential as training can be given)
 What we can offer:
- Monday to Friday 7:45am- 4:30pm (3:30pm finish on Fridays)
- Full training as part of your ongoing development
- 39 hours per week guaranteed
