Sonic Summary
- We are seeking 5 Electrical Fitters/Rolling Stock Electricians for a 12-month contract in Milton Keynes.
- The position offers a pay rate of £32 per hour Umbrella (inside IR35) with no night shifts, working Monday to Friday up to 50 hours per week.
- Candidates must have a level 3 or equivalent qualification in a relevant field and possess experience in Rolling Stock Electrical, HGV, or PCV Technicians, or relevant military backgrounds.
- The role involves electrical overhaul tasks such as stripping, refitting, and working from engineering drawings in a safety-critical environment.
- Successful applicants will need to pass a drug and alcohol test before starting work.
As aElectrical Fitter you would be working Earlies/Afters (NO Nights) Monday to Friday, up to 50 Hrs.
The role has a rate of 32 ph Umbrella (inside IR35)
The role is carrying out Electrical overhaul including stripping and refitting. This is a safety Critical position working on a busy live rail maintenance depot and in this role you would be expected to complete the following:
Work from written instruction
Work from Engineering drawings, working to specific measurements
Remove electrical components
Replacing components to correspond to engineering drawings
Applicants must hold a level 3 or equivalent qualification in a relevant field to be considered
Candidates from the following background will be considered:
Rolling Stock
Electrical HGV and PCV Technicians
Rail
RAF, REME, Army, Navy etc
