Job Title: Room Leader
Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: £24,000 - £27,000 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience)

About the Nursery:Dunbar Education is proud to partner with a well-established private day nursery in Milton Keynes, dedicated to delivering high-quality early years education. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced childcare professional to step into a leadership role and make a meaningful impact on young children's development.
Role Overview:We are looking for a motivated and experienced Room Leader to take charge of a specific age group within the nursery. You will be responsible for leading a team of practitioners, ensuring high standards of care and education, and creating a positive, stimulating environment for the children.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and support a team of nursery practitioners in planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities.
- Ensure all children in the room receive high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework.
- Oversee the daily routine, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.
- Monitor and track children's progress, maintaining accurate records and communicating with parents/carers.
- Support and mentor staff, conducting regular observations and providing feedback.
- Maintain compliance with safeguarding policies, health and safety regulations, and Ofsted requirements.
- Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years Education or equivalent.
- Previous experience working as a Room Leader or Senior Nursery Practitioner.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and best practices in early years education.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- A passion for delivering high-quality early years education and fostering children's development.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals.
