- Assess and treat patients with a variety of conditions, helping them improve or regain their functional abilities and independence.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop personalized care plans for patients.
- Provide advice, support, and education to patients, families, and carers regarding adaptive techniques, equipment, and home modifications.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate patient records in line with trust policies and legal requirements.
- Participate in departmental meetings, case discussions, and ongoing professional development.
- Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent.
- HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) registered.
- Proven experience working as an Occupational Therapist in a healthcare setting, preferably within the NHS.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and continuous professional development.
- The hourly rate for this position is £30.
- Rooms are available for overnight stay if required, providing convenience for those traveling long distances.
