Occupational Therapy- Band 6

Working on the general medical ward.

Working within a team of OT’s, physios and assistants.

Location: Milton Keynes

Start date- ASAP

End date- 3+ Months

Shift Pattern:

  • Monday to Friday (Ideally full time but open to part time
  • 8:30 - 4:30 (Negotiable)

Skills/Experience:

    • Experience as an OT working in assessment and discharge planning in a busy general medical ward
    • Completion of occupational therapy process, assessment, intervention plans, responsible for caseload.
    • To ensure service users recovery goals and plans are at the centre of Occupational Therapy practice and fosters skills and confidence of people to enable them to live as independently as possible
    • Part time working considered
    • Professional assessments and care interventions within legislation and the COT and HCPC practice requirements
    • Manage, supervise and support staff as required
    • Contribute the skills, knowledge and performance of the OT team
