Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and reliable Office Manager to oversee the daily administrative operations of our clients plumbing and mechanical company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of office operations, managing office staff and engineers, handling customer inquiries, and maintaining an efficient work environment. The Office Manager will also support accounting functions, scheduling, and ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage team within office
- Liaise with key clients
- Customer Service
- Assist with HR for the team
- Scheduling of engineers
- Manage day to day duties within the office including marketing strategies
- Financial reporting/preparation of reports against forecasts and budgets
- Support office team within technical queries
- Manage training of team
- Accounting and bookkeeping
- Compliance and record keeping
Desired requirements:
- Industry experience with the plumbing/mechanical industry.
- Experience of dealing with high-net-worth clients
- Marketing and social media experience
- Bookkeeping experience
Office Manager experience / skills
- Preference is to have industry experience: Plumbing, Engineering, Mechanical
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other office software
- Knowledge of accounting and invoicing software is a plus (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero or similar)
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Experience with customer service and conflict resolution
OfficeManager Working Conditions:
- Full-time position, Monday through Friday, with potential for occasional overtime
- Office environment with occasional on-site visits to job locations.
