Senior Packaging Technologist
Location: Flexible - with the occasional travel to a 'nearest site'.
Hours: 37.5 per week.
Salary: Up to 45,000
What SRG are looking for... a Senior Packaging Technologist for a busy R&D team within the FMCG sector. The role will require delivering a wide variety of packaging innovation and projects.
This is a remote position however some travel will be required to visit both R&D and packaging facilities. You will also be expected to visit suppliers.
Your responsibilities will include...
Owning specifications for new packaging materials and the application in finished products.
You will be tasked with developing technical solutions delivering against opportunities identified through the Innovation Strategy of the team.
As the strategy develops, your external focus will identify packaging solutions and technologies that will be shared across the R&D and commercial teams.
You will be liaising with key stakeholders in the business which will be a key part of the role.
