Key details of the role:

  • Perform final accuracy checks on dispensed prescriptions, ensuring all medications are correct and complete before reaching patients.
  • Verify the accuracy of dosages, labeling, and packaging, adhering to regulatory and safety standards.
  • Identify and resolve any errors in the dispensing process, maintaining high standards of patient safety.
  • Collaborate closely with pharmacists and dispensers to support smooth and efficient pharmacy operations.
  • Provide guidance and support to the dispensing team, promoting best practices in medication preparation and handling.
  • Assist with stock management tasks, including monitoring inventory levels and placing orders as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must have a valid Accuracy Checking Technician qualification.
  • Previous experience in a pharmacy setting is preferred but not essential.
