This is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to contribute to generating significant philanthropic support within a department central to the institute’s strategic aims and goals.As a Telephone Fundraiser, you will play a key role in building and maintaining strong relationships with our alumni, raising awareness of university projects, and securing vital donations that support our students and research initiatives.About You:You should be an enthusiastic individual with excellent communication skills and a genuine interest in supporting education. You should be adaptable, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team. Prior experience in fundraising or customer service is beneficial but not essential.Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with Alumni: Calling the selected university alumni to inform them about our philanthropic projects and inspire their support through donations.
  • Data Management: Accurately maintaining records of all interactions on our alumni database, ensuring all personal data, donation details, and other relevant information are up to date and recorded to the highest standard.
  • Relationship Building: Foster strong, positive relationships with alumni, demonstrating their importance to the University and the impact of their contributions.
  • Flexibility: Adapt and respond to the dynamic needs of the Development Office, undertaking additional duties as required.
