Temporary Payroll Specialist 

Remote working - possibly one day in the office per week maximum 

Salary -£35,000 per annum 

I am seeking a Temporary Payroll Assistant to join a well-established Finance Team. You MUST have proven experience using WORKDAY and a strong understanding of payroll processes. 

Key Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation and processing of payroll for all employees using Workday. Ensure accuracy and compliance with all payroll regulations and company policies. Handle payroll-related inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally. Maintain and update employee payroll records in Workday. Assist in the preparation of payroll reports and audits. Support the Payroll Manager with various payroll projects as needed.

Proven experience as a Payroll Assistant or in a similar role. Proficiency in using Workday for payroll processing is essential.Strong understanding of payroll principles, regulations, and best practices. Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially. Strong organisational and time-management skills. Effective communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
