A fantastic opportunity for a Pharmacy Dispenser/Technician or ACT to join a friendly and successful independent online pharmacy in Milton Keynes. Seeking a friendly and organised Pharmacy Dispenser with a passion for providing excellent customer service. Building relationships with your customers is key and you'll play an important part in meeting their unique healthcare needs and providing a supporting service to aid the Pharmacist in the dispensary.

Key Duties

  • Carry out final checking of dispensed items whilst adhering to the company's standard
  • operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Supervise the pharmacy technician(s) and wider dispensary team to ensure everyone is
  • carrying out their duties correctly.
  • Liaising with other healthcare professionals to assist in the continuity of patient care
  • across primary and secondary care.
  • Ensure that Patient Medication Records (PMR's) are maintained accurately to ensure
  • patient safety whilst complying with current data protection requirements.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of medicines and minor ailments by reading journals,
  • product information and training resources.

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

  • Must have minimum NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Dispensing
  • Must have the right to work in the UK
  • Minimum of 3 years experience
  • Must have own car
  • DBS checked
  • Experienced in high volume dispensing in particular MDS trays and have their own transport and be familiar with RxWeb.
