We are looking for an experiencedTemporary School Chefto join our agency team for catering assignments at schools. This is a great opportunity for chefs who thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment and are passionate about providing high-quality meals for students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook nutritious, high-quality meals in accordance with school menus and dietary requirements
• Ensure meals are prepared on time and served at the correct temperature
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to all food safety and hygiene standards
• Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and school personnel to meet the needs of the school community
• Manage kitchen supplies, including ordering ingredients and ensuring stock levels are maintained
• Follow all health and safety regulations at all times

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a chef, preferably in a school, college, or large-scale catering environment
• ValidEnhanced DBS check(required for working in schools)
• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Passion for preparing healthy, balanced meals for young people
• Flexibility to work on a temporary basis across various schools and shifts
