Occupational Therapist
Location: Milton Keynes | Salary: Up to £36,483 per annum + £3,000.00 welcome bonus!| Hours: 35 hours per week
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading UK charity to find a dedicated and professional Occupational Therapist to join their multidisciplinary team (MDT). The charity provides specialized neurorehabilitation services for individuals with Acquired Brain Injuries (ABI). By helping individuals regain independence and achieve personal goals, we offer expert, person-centered care that empowers both individuals and their families.
As an Occupational Therapist, you will be a vital part of a supportive and multidisciplinary team, delivering tailored interventions and making a significant difference in the lives of those you work with.
Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Practice
- Deliver occupational therapy interventions based on a neurobehavioral framework.
- Manage a diverse caseload of individuals with complex needs, working under the guidance of senior therapists.
- Use evidence-based, person-centered strategies to support clients in regaining independence in self-care, work, education, and leisure.
- Collaborate with internal teams, families, and external professionals to deliver holistic care tailored to individual needs.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Mentor rehabilitation support workers and therapy assistants, promoting professional growth.
- Prioritize and manage your workload efficiently, ensuring high-quality care while contributing to service improvements.
Safety & Risk Management
- Conduct risk assessments and communicate effectively to ensure the safety and well-being of individuals under your care.
- Qualifications: Degree/Diploma in Occupational Therapy, HCPC registered.
- Experience: Experience in neurorehabilitation is desirable but not essential. A solid understanding of occupational therapy assessments and interventions is key.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
