I am working in partnership with a major player in the automotive industry who specialise in manufacturing commercial vehicles.

Due to an exciting transformation journey, they are looking to appoint a Head of Market Strategy where you will be a visionary leader that will drive the shift to a sustainable transport solution.About the Role:As the Head of Market Strategy, you will be the voice and consciousness of the organisation, inspiring both internal and external stakeholders towards a clear vision of their collective future. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Creating and Prioritising Vision: Develop a clear and concise vision that aligns with their company objectives.
  • Customer Journey Design: Drive the design and development of the future customer journey, coordinating improvement programs.
  • Industry Trend Monitoring: Assess industry trends, regulatory changes, and central strategies to identify areas for development.
  • Strategic Planning: Work with the Head of Business Change to define a 5-year improvement program roadmap.
  • Communication Strategy: Inspire the team with an engaging communication strategy that brings the future world to life.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strategic partnerships and maintain active collaboration with program sponsors and stakeholders.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify and manage risks, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.

What We're Looking For:

  • Strategic Leadership: Proven track record in large-scale strategic delivery within a large organisation.
  • Forecasting and Prediction: Ability to create predictive models and pinpoint opportunities and threats.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams across multiple locations.
  • Innovation and Agility: Knowledge of project and program management methods and agile delivery methodologies.
  • Communication and Influence: Confident communicator, change communications expert and ambassador for driving their Core Values.
