The School and Role

The school in is an i specialist school, offering placements for students aged 7-19 years with Autism Spectrum Disorder ( ASD/ ASC ) They are part of a very supportive trust who can help with training and rea progression for the right candidate. The hours of work are 8.30 –3.30

You must have QTS for this position and a passion for working with SEND children. The role isteaching food tech at a basic level to children with special needs, you don't need to be a food expert just someone who likes coking and teaching. 

The position is for 4 weeks bit could be extended 

The desired SEND Teacher  will have;

- Experience of working with school aged children AND LEADING AND PLANNING LESSONS 

- Experience of working with pupils with SEMH and challenging behaviour

- A passion for the progress of Secondary school pupils

- An ability to work as part of a team
