The Role:Â We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 4 Class Teacher to join our team for a maternity cover position. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences, fostering a positive and engaging classroom environment, and supporting the holistic development of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and carers to support student learning and well-being.
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
About You:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or ECTs
- Experience teaching in a primary school setting, preferably with Year 4 students.
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for education and a commitment to fostering a love of learning in students.
