Your new companyOur client are a growing FM service provider who specialise in delivering facilities services in corporate office environments. They are hiring a Senior Workplace Manager to deliver hard & soft facilities services for their client based in Milton Keynes.Your new roleAs Senior Workplace Manager, you will lead the local FM team to provide a safe and highly effective workplace for the client, through the delivery of exceptional standards and brilliant basics in service delivery. You will effectively manage the client relationship where TFM services are provided, with a focus on the successful management of M&E services and projects. Key duties will include:

  • Ensure overall delivery of 5-star TFM service to their client.
  • Ensure that building services, planned and reactive works, and complex technical projects are effectively completed by local engineering and FM team.
  • Track & manage lifecycle of physical equipment and building systems.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve energy efficiency and sustainability.
  • Ensure compliance with H&S regulations.
  • Ensure agreed SLAs and KPIs are achieved.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, customers and all other key stakeholders.
  • Managing the delivery team on site.
  • Determine ways to reduce costs or add efficiencies whilst maintaining high service levels.
  • Budget management inc. accurate reporting, adherence to cost models and client value for money.

What you'll need to succeedTo succeed in this role you will require relevant experience as a facilities/workplace/contract manager within an office environment. You will require a strong understanding of both hard and soft services delivery as well as relevant H&S and compliance regulations. You will also require:

  • Technical understanding & experience of hard services delivery - planned & reactive maintenance, asset lifecycles and projects.
  • Soft services understanding and experience - cleaning, security, facilities support etc.
  • Experience in managing in-house teams as well as sub-contractors.
  • Client delivery experience & ability to communicate with clients at varying levels in the business.
  • Budget management experience.
  • Relevant H&S/facilities qualifications (IWFM quals, IOSH etc.) are desirable.
