An opportunity for an IT Procurement specialist with a depth of IT Services and SaaS experience to undertake a key role in a significant and complex IT managed service development programme. You will support the business to adopt and embed the Third Party Risk Management framework and deliver first-class Procurement services.

  • Lead the programme from a Procurement perspective in supporting the development of a Procurement and Third Party Management policy framework, ensuring the documentation is reviewed and updated on an ongoing basis.
  • Support the development of training materials, workshops and training sessions across the business.
  • Partner with stakeholders to define a collaborative approach to sourcing and ongoing third party management for assigned business areas.
  • Lead the delivery of end-to-end Procurement activity for assigned business areas, including sourcing approach, pre-qualification, tender, negotiation, preparation of contract, due diligence, onboarding, renewals and offboarding.
  • Work collaboratively with Legal in the drafting of commercial contracts.
  • Contribute to the delivery of cost reductions, efficiencies and value opportunities through delivery of Procurement and third party management activities.
  • Work with the business to develop and maintain an external network of Procurement and Third Party Management contacts to develop category expertise and drive market insight.

Skills and Experience:

  • Extensive IT Services and SaaS Procurement Programme experience,
  • Experience in the development programmes for IT services
  • Commercially astute and knowledgeable in negotiating and drafting of complex supplier contracts.
  • Strong influencing and relationship building skills, with a proven ability to build constructive working relationships with suppliers, negotiating to deliver results.
  • A collaborative approach to stakeholder management at all levels.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical subject matter into clear, concise and impactful information.
  • Accountability and responsibility to take the lead in IT Procurement programme development
  • MCIPS preferred
