Our client, a leading highways contractor, specialises in cyclical, reactive, and planned maintenance works under NEC 4 Option C contracts. They are looking for a Quantity Surveyorto join their commercial team.
Role Overview
As a Quantity Surveyor / Target Cost Estimator, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing target cost estimates for highways projects.
- Managing quotes from estimate to order.
- Supporting procurement and cost management for operations.
- Administering NEC 4 contracts and ensuring cost control.
- Submitting applications for payment and working closely with the operational team.
Requirements
- Experience: Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally with NEC 4 Option C.
- Skills: Strong in cost estimation, procurement, and contract administration.
- Qualifications: Degree in Quantity Surveying/Commercial Management, RICS or ICES membership preferred.
- Hands-On Approach: A proactive and practical team player.
