Temporary Receptionist (Milton Keynes)

We are supporting our global client in finding a Temporary Receptionist for their Milton Keynes site for a minimum of six months.

Location: Onsite

Working Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Salary: £16.41 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the organisation's first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring professional communication.
  • Receive and direct calls in a courteous and efficient manner.
  • Welcome visitors, maintain proper sign-in documentation, and follow safety procedures.
  • Handle all incoming and outgoing mail requirements, including courier services, and manage the maintenance of the postage machine as needed.
  • Schedule appointments, meetings, and book conference rooms.
  • Order lunch for employees and visitors as required.
  • Manage the office supplies stockroom, place orders, and maintain effective administration.
  • Contact vendors and suppliers as needed to communicate plant/site shutdowns and other disruptions in service.
  • Maintain badges for new hires, contractors, and visitors.
  • Support administrative projects as assigned.
  • Provide other administrative support activities as needed.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Act as the Site Emergency Response Coordinator.
  • Ensure training is up-to-date for first aiders and fire marshals.
  • Manage the pool car booking system and ensure regular checks are carried out.

Candidate Specification:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Customer focus, with the ability to build strong relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a reception or administration-based role.
