We have an exciting opportunity for a Workshop Engineer based in Milton Keynes for one of our clients on a full-time permanent basis.
Summary of the Workshop Engineer role
Salary: £28,000 per annum
Location:Milton Keynes
Type of Contract: Permanent, Full time
Hours: Monday Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
Benefits: Pension Scheme, Life Assurance, Private Medical Insurance, Cycle to work scheme, Optical Eye care reimbursement.
Responsibilities of theWorkshop Engineer
- Inspect and live test equipment prior to delivery.
- Inspect used machines coming in and assess their quality and value.
- Refrubish machines ready for sale.
- Assist the service department in repairing parts and machines.
- Unloading deliveries and assisting with stocktakes.
Requirements for a successful Workshop Engineer
- At least 3 years of mechanical engineering experience, including repair and maintenance.
- Experience in the fault-finding of capital equipment.
- A qualification in mechanical and electrical engineering
- Strong IT skills with experience with M3 software.
- Previous warehouse management experience.
- Strong organisational skills.
