We have an exciting opportunity for a Workshop Engineer based in Milton Keynes for one of our clients on a full-time permanent basis.

Summary of the Workshop Engineer role

Salary: £28,000 per annum
Location:Milton Keynes
Type of Contract: Permanent, Full time
Hours: Monday Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
Benefits: Pension Scheme, Life Assurance, Private Medical Insurance, Cycle to work scheme, Optical Eye care reimbursement.

Responsibilities of theWorkshop Engineer

  • Inspect and live test equipment prior to delivery.
  • Inspect used machines coming in and assess their quality and value.
  • Refrubish machines ready for sale.
  • Assist the service department in repairing parts and machines.
  • Unloading deliveries and assisting with stocktakes.

Requirements for a successful Workshop Engineer

  • At least 3 years of mechanical engineering experience, including repair and maintenance.
  • Experience in the fault-finding of capital equipment.
  • A qualification in mechanical and electrical engineering
  • Strong IT skills with experience with M3 software.
  • Previous warehouse management experience.
  • Strong organisational skills.
